CX Cups

The CX Cup has a very large cup volume, increased throat entrance, and an alpha angle that is the same as the LX Cup. 

This allows for a lot of lip engagement into the mouthpiece.  

A strong embouchure is required to control this mouthpiece and maintain endurance.  

Sound is large with a full spectrum of overtones, even, and brilliant throughout the horn.  

The larger throat entrance and throat bore is a good match for the C trumpet and it has a #3 Backbore.  

Projection is good, although, it has a strong presence of sound near and around the player.  

Designed for the  C trumpet players that use the LX Cup on the Bb trumpet.  

An outstanding orchestral and solo mouthpiece.
