1NC Ideal for 2nd and 3rd (section) parts without compromising the high range when needed. Also for 1st parts when the player needs an even smooth tone that blends beautifully with the other orchestral instruments.

1NC* The all around mouthpiece with a beautiful, rich, well centered quality. It has a full cup that enhances the core overtones.

1NC** Similar to the 1NC* with a bit less volume, more “V” into the cup, and a higher alpha angle.

1NMC A great mouthpiece to play the high powered 1st trumpet parts, yet deep enough to provide a creamy smooth, open tone.

1NM This is a wonderful mouthpiece for the D/Eb trumpet, as well as for lighter C trumpet parts, chamber orchestra, quintet and solo playing.

1NSV Good for 1st trumpet in pops. It has a double cup system that gives enough compression for solid highs, but still has a warm tone for lyrical playing.

1NSVL Has the same cup as 1NSV but with a tighter backbore that works well with the Bb.

1NSP Shallower than the 1NSV(L). Good for very high pop/big band playing, but was designed for the piccolo trumpet player who likes to use the same rim. Comes with trumpet or cornet shank.

Lazarus Trumpet Mouthpiece. Chuck Lazarus, Gary, and Dennis got together for this gorgeous sounding mouthpiece. It has the 1N rim and a special cup designed around Chuck’s amazingly beautiful tone.

Cornet Mouthpieces

1NCor Series cornet mouthpieces are designed for the most discriminating cornet players (solo, British style, etc.). They are available in 7 different depths, the shallowest being 1, and 8 the deepest. These are different from any other cornet mouthpiece available.

Vírtuo Dennis and Gary designed this especially for Dennis. With the 1N rim and a bowl cup that is not too deep, this mouthpiece has a full, rich, smooth sound with great high range and incredible flexibility.
