Standard GR Rims

One of the first things you will notice about a GR Mouthpiece is it's gorgeous, glass- like finish.  This finish will provide a silky comfort from the moment you first put the piece on your chops.   Grip is secure, articulations crisp. 

Unlike most "conventional" mouthpieces, all GR Standard Rims have the same CONTOUR.  This maintains the same basic feel from cup to cup.  For example, the rim contours are exactly the same on the 66S, 66MS, 66M, 66MX, etc.  What does vary is the ALPHA ANGLE. 

The Standard GR Rim is composed of medium characteristics.

This rim is comfortable and should be easy for most players to adapt to quickly.

The width may feel a bit more generous than traditional rims and will aid endurance.

Flexibility is good and articulations will be cleanly defined.

Standard Rims have no designation on the mouthpiece itself.
