Exit Diameter Exit diameter refers to the actual diameter of the mouthpiece shank at the very end of the mouthpiece which enters the horn. This is an important measurement as it will affect gap. GR can "dial in" the perfect gap by designing mouthpieces with specific exit diameters for use in specific horns.
